You may be thinking about having another child but worried about the cost of actually having one. I can’t blame you. It starts with pre-natal checkups and vitamins and never ends. Not even after they are adults, nor even after they are earning on their own. Having another child will always change your current lifestyle, and it is really a big commitment.
While this thought is petty compared to the joy and blessing of having another child, it cannot be ignored. You will need to prepare well to be able to ensure that your child will be well provided for.
You can look for a better job, get more jobs to earn more, but similarly, you can also look into your current spending pattern and adjust to making room for the newest addition to your family.
Try listing all your expenditures in a week or in a month, and you will see some items you can cut back on. Having a lot of dine outs lately? Perhaps it’s time you plan your home meals better so that you can use that money instead to buy a pack of diapers in the future?
Having another child is always a big commitment, and you need to prepare the whole family and ensure that they are fully supportive of this endeavor. Everyone will have to do his part in making sure that you save enough for the newest bundle of joy, and it can be strenuous. So make sure that the whole family is tight and looking forward to the birth of your new baby, doing so will make them forget the little sacrifices they need to do.
